PARTY SOUND & LIGHTING

Party Speaker Hire in Oxfordshire, Gloucestershire & Buckinghamshire

Bring your playlist. We’ll get the sound ready.

Hire a party sound system in Oxford or across Gloucestershire and Buckinghamshire, with speakers, a mixer and the connections for your phone, laptop or DJ equipment. From house parties and birthdays to celebrations in village halls, we’ll recommend a setup for the room, deliver it and show you how to use it. Add synchronised disco lights if you’d like sound and lighting arranged together.

EXCELLENT

START WITH THE ROOM

Choose your party sound system

Our party PA packages include the speakers, mixer and connections needed to play your music. The main difference is the bass: choose a compact two-speaker system for background music, or add one or two subwoofers when dancing is the focus. If you’re unsure, send us the venue name and approximate guest numbers and we’ll recommend a suitable option.

COMPACT TWO-SPEAKER SYSTEM

Smallparty sound system

Small party PA speaker system

For smaller rooms, background music and parties that don’t need a separate bass speaker. A straightforward setup for your playlist, with a microphone available for announcements.

  • Two professional RCF speakers and stands
  • Compact mixer and wired playback connection
  • Essential power and signal cables
  • Microphones and lights available separately

EXTRA BASS FOR DANCING

Mediumparty sound system

Medium party PA speaker system

Two speakers and a separate subwoofer give the music more weight. A useful starting point for a birthday or hall party where dancing is part of the plan.

  • Two RCF speakers with one subwoofer
  • Fuller bass than the Small system
  • Mixer and wired playback connection
  • Microphones and lights available separately

TWIN SUBWOOFERS

Largeparty sound system

Large party PA speaker system

Two speakers with two subwoofers for parties where stronger bass is a priority.. Tell us about the room, guest numbers and music so we can check the system suits the space.

  • Two RCF speakers with two subwoofers
  • More bass capability for the dance floor
  • Mixer and wired playback connection
  • Microphones and lights available separately

Each product page shows the available hire options, along with a delivery calculator for your venue postcode. If you’re hiring speakers, lights and microphones together, just get in touch and we can put everything into one itemised quote for you.

We deliver, set everything up and collect it afterwards. Your quote will show the equipment, delivery, setup and collection costs separately.

SOUND AND LIGHTS TOGETHER

Speaker and lighting hire for a DIY disco

Play your own music and we’ll take care of the speakers and lights. A matching pair of lighting bars gives us two positions around the dance floor, with synchronised colours and effects that work together across the room.

We usually recommend a pair because it gives us more flexibility over coverage and positioning. We’ll still check the room and available space before recommending the setup.

Chauvet GigBAR 3 ILS party lighting system on tripod

Automatic disco lighting

A pair of GigBAR 3 ILS units combines colour washes and moving effects. We link the units wirelessly and set the operating mode, so the display can run while you enjoy the party. For the paired setup, select two units on the product page, or ask us for a complete quote.

Chauvet Gigbar Move + ILS Hire

Moving-head party lighting

A matching GigBAR Move pair adds moving heads to the display. It’s worth considering if you want more movement across the room; we’ll check the space and placement with you. For the paired setup, select two units on the product page, or ask us for a complete quote.

ADJ UV lighting fixture

UV lights for a glow party

UV lights, often called black lights, make fluorescent clothing, decorations and suitable face paints glow. They’re particularly effective in a darkened room, whether you’re planning a full neon theme or adding a UV corner to the party. We’ll position the lights to cover the area you want and show you the effect before your guests arrive.

ADJ battery-powered uplighters

Venue uplighting that moves with the music

Bring the whole room into the party with uplighters that wash the walls in colour. We can synchronise them to respond to the music, or set a rainbow chase that sends colours weaving around the room. For drinks or earlier in the evening, a steady colour gives a gentler backdrop. We’ll position the lights around your venue and show you how to change between the agreed settings.

Get a quote for speakers and lights

Tell us about the room, the music and the lighting you have in mind. We’ll recommend a complete setup and put the equipment, transport and crew costs into one itemised quote.

PLAYLIST OR DJ

Play your music your way

Our party hire supplies the equipment and setup. You provide the playlist or arrange your own DJ.

Using a phone or laptop

Tell us which device you’ll bring so we can arrange the right wired connection or adapter. We’ll test playback with you and show you how to adjust the volume. If you’d like Bluetooth, mention it when you book so we can confirm a suitable option.

Download the music, keep the device charged and silence notifications. Put one person in charge of playback so everyone knows who to ask when it’s time for the next song.

Hire Pioneer DJM-900NXS & CDJ-2000NXS Nexus in Oxfordshire

Bringing a DJ

Send us your DJ’s equipment list or put them in touch with us. We’ll confirm the connections and any monitoring they need. If they need decks or a mixer, see our DJ equipment hire options.

For a live band, send the technical requirements before choosing a party system. Extra inputs, microphones and monitoring may be needed.

DELIVERED, SET UP AND COLLECTED

Party sound system delivery and setup

We deliver and install your party sound system, test it and show you the controls before we leave. Our team returns to collect the equipment at the agreed time. Equipment hire, transport and setup charges are itemised separately, so you can see the full cost before booking.

Our party speaker systems need mains power. If your venue has a sound limiter, or you’re planning a party in a marquee or outdoor space, let us know before booking so we can check that your chosen sound system will suit the setting.

We deliver across Oxfordshire and to venues in Gloucestershire, Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, Northamptonshire and Warwickshire. Send us the venue postcode and access times so we can confirm the arrangements.

1. Check delivery and setup costs

Choose a sound system above, then enter your venue postcode in the delivery calculator on its product page. The estimate takes account of the location and setup requirements. If you need speakers and lights together, ask us for a combined quote so the transport and crew time can be planned for the whole booking.

2. Tell us about your venue

Let us know your event date, venue, when we can get in to set up and when everything needs to be cleared away. It’s also helpful to know about any stairs or parking restrictions so we can plan ahead. If you’re hiring sound and lighting together, we’ll put everything into one itemised quote so you can see exactly what’s included.

3. We’ll get everything ready

On the day, we’ll position the equipment, connect your music source and test the system with you. We’ll explain the controls you need and agree the return collection arrangements. If you’d like an engineer to stay during the party, we can include attendance as a separate option in your quote.

BEFORE YOU BOOK

Party hire questions

Can I hire speakers without lights?

Yes. Choose a sound system on its own, or add a paired lighting setup to the same booking.

How much does party speaker hire cost?

The cost depends on the sound system, hire dates, venue and any lighting or microphones you add. The product pages show the hire options and a postcode-based delivery estimate. For a complete party setup, ask us for an itemised quote covering equipment, transport, setup and return collection.

What size sound system do I need for my party?

It depends on the room, guest numbers and whether you want background music or a busy dance floor. Tell us the venue and how you plan to use the system and we’ll recommend a suitable package. A room photo is useful if you’re unsure about the layout.

Will I need to know how to use a mixing desk?

We’ll set up the system and show you the controls you need. For a playlist party, that normally means connecting your device and adjusting the level.

Can I add a wireless microphone?

Yes. Tell us if you need one for a welcome, birthday speech or announcements and we’ll include it in the quote.

Can I collect the equipment myself?

These bookings are delivery-only. We bring the equipment, set it up and show you how to use it, then return to collect at the agreed time.

Does someone stay during the party?

We normally leave after setup, testing and handover. If you need an engineer to stay, tell us your plans and we’ll quote for attendance.

Is the equipment electrically tested?

Our electrical equipment is PAT-tested regularly and checked before dispatch. If the venue needs testing records or insurance information, let us know ahead of the event.
