Focusrite RedNet MP8R Dante Microphone Preamp Hire
Expand a networked production rig or place microphone inputs where they are needed around a venue. Share your console, network and recording requirements when booking so we can help plan the patching and supporting equipment.
Key features
- Eight microphone preamps with individual XLR inputs
- Dante network audio with conversion up to 24-bit / 192 kHz
- Remote gain control through RedNet Control
- Per-channel 48 V phantom power, pad and high-pass filter
- Direct and gain-compensated Dante feeds from each preamp
- Dual power supplies and primary/secondary network connections

Connections and setup
The MP8R provides microphone inputs and A/D conversion to Dante. It is not a USB interface or an analogue output stagebox. A compatible Dante destination and configured network are required; computer recording also needs an appropriate Dante connection. Its gain-compensated feeds do not add extra physical microphone inputs.
What is included?
